PDP Senate candidate for Imo East (Owerri Zone) in the 2027 election and former Deputy Governor of Imo state, Prince Eze Madumere has warmly rejoiced with the children of Owerri Zone, Imo State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.

In his goodwill message, Prince Madumere described children as the pride of every nation and the foundation upon which the future is built. He emphasized that every society that desires sustainable growth must prioritize the welfare, education, and protection of its children.

According to him, “Children are not just leaders of tomorrow; they are the hope of today. Their dreams, innocence, and potential must be nurtured with care, supported with quality education, and protected through responsible leadership.”

The PDP Senatorial Candidate for Imo East Senatorial District and former Deputy Governor called on parents, guardians, community leaders, and government at all levels to renew their commitment toward creating an environment where every child can thrive without fear, discrimination, or limitation. He further stressed the need for policies that promote child development, access to education, and protection from abuse and neglect.

Prince Madumere also encouraged children to remain focused on their education, uphold good values, and believe in their ability to achieve greatness, assuring them that the future holds endless possibilities if they remain diligent and disciplined.

“As we celebrate our children today, let us remember that investing in them is investing in the future of our society. Together, we must build a nation where every child is given the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed,” he added.

Madumere wished all children a joyful, memorable, and inspiring Children’s Day celebration.
