Nurses in Imo state working under the Imo state civil service have expressed in their appreciation to Gov Hope Uzodimma for appointing one of them Mrs Scholastica Iheka as Permanent Secretary in the state.
The nurses filled with joy described the governor as a jinx breaker, courageous and visionary leader who had done what his predecessors could not do.
A release by the Director of Nursing Services Imo State Mrs Ucheamaka Oranusi on behalf of all the Nurses in Imo state civil service reads thus:
“For us, justice delayed is not justice denied, this is the reason we celebrate this feat no matter how late it is.
“On behalf of all the Nurses in Imo state civil service, I most sincerely thank and appreciate.
Your Excellency, our dearly beloved Dist Senator Hope Uzodimma (Onwa Oyoko) governor Imo state for appointing one of us, Mrs Scholastica Iheka as a serving Permanent Secretary in Imo state civil service. This historic milestone and jinx breaking cannot be swept under the carpet Your Excellency.
We salute your courage, vision and charisma in doing what other governors found difficult to do.
We shall remain eternally grateful to you for breaking this jinx for us such that we are not going to be retired as directors but shall get to the zenith of our career courtesy of your foresight and magnanimity.
