His address reads thus:
“Distinguished leaders and stakeholders of our great party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP); members of the press; our great partners, party faithful; supporters; youths; women; and the good people of Owerri Zone.

Today, I stand before you humbled and profoundly grateful to God Almighty and to the leadership and membership of our great party for the confidence reposed in me as the Senatorial candidate of the PDP for Imo East (Owerri Zone) in the 2027 elections.

From my sincere heart I say, there is no victor and no vanquish. Everyone is a winner. My dearly beloved brothers, Rt. Hon Greg Egu and High Chief Summers Nwokie (Ikuku Oma Mbaise) who contested with me are the true winners. There is nothing love cannot do, this is the time for us to show genuine love to our party.

This moment is not merely a personal victory or a privilege to be arrogantly boast of but, a victory for unity, loyalty and experience for the collective aspiration of our people for purposeful representation and responsible leadership.

However, this victory would not have been possible without leaders and genuine members of our party. Most importantly, let me sincerely appreciate the National Secretary of our great party, Distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, whose steadfast leadership, resilience, and commitment to the growth and stability of PDP continue to inspire party faithful across the nation.

I equally commend the state leadership of the party led by our ebulliently sagacious Chairman, Rt. Hon Austin Nwachukwu, our elders, stakeholders, LGA Chairmen, ward executive, women leaders, youths, and faithful members whose sacrifices and dedication have kept the PDP strong, united, and vibrant in Imo State despite the challenges confronting opposition politics in our nation today.

To the delegates, supporters, and the entire people of Owerri Zone, I thank you sincerely for your trust and belief in my capacity to represent our people effectively at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly. Your confidence in me is a sacred responsibility which I do not take for granted.

Owerri Zone deserves a voice that understands the pains, hopes, and aspirations of the people. Our people deserve quality representation anchored on experience, accessibility, integrity, competence, and selfless service delivery. Having served the state faithfully as Chief of Staff to the state Government and Deputy Governor of Imo State respectively, I understand the challenges facing our communities and the urgent need for responsive leadership that will attract development, create opportunities for our youths and women, and restore confidence in governance.

My aspiration is driven by the desire to restore effective representation, strengthen grassroots development, impact positively on lives, and ensure that the interest of Owerri Zone is protected, defended, and promoted at the national level. We must pursue people-oriented legislation and policies that will improve infrastructure, empower small and medium-scale businesses, enhance education, support agriculture, create jobs, promote youth inclusion, and provide sustainable economic opportunities for our people.

As a servant who has remained connected to the grassroots over the years, I firmly believe that governance must be people-centered anchored on purpose-driven. Leadership must not be distant from the people. It must be compassionate, accessible, accountable, and committed to delivering measurable progress.

I want to assure Ndi-Owerri that this journey is not about politics alone and never can it be for myself alone, but about service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of our people. I remain committed to running an issue-based, peaceful, and people-oriented engagement that will unite rather than divide our communities. The unity of Owerri Zone and the progress of our people must remain paramount at all times.

I therefore call on all party members, supporters, and stakeholders to remain steadfast, united, and focused as we move forward together. Victory can only be achieved through collective effort, discipline, sacrifice, and genuine love for our people and our party.

To the press, I thank you for your continuous role in strengthening democracy, promoting accountability, and informing society responsibly. I urge you to continue to uphold fairness, truth, professionalism, and objectivity in your reportage, especially at this critical stage of our democratic journey.

Together, we shall build a stronger PDP, a more united Owerri Zone, and a viable and prosperous Imo State”.
